Macon man accused of burglary

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is accused of breaking into a Clearwater Plantation home in February.

Jeffery Carpenter Jr., 26, is charged with burglary, theft by taking, theft by receiving stolen property and probation violation. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy who made the initial report followed up on new information he received to make this arrest, according to a news release.

Carpenter was arrested Friday night around 9:00.
