Macon man accused of breaking into cars
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is accused of breaking into three cars recently.
47-year-old Richard Thomas is charged with three counts of entering auto. His bond is set at $3,900. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas Friday afternoon.
Investigators said Thomas broke into the cars on two separate incidents. One location was the Wades Detail Shop on Napier and Bailey Avenues. The other location was Safeway Auto Sales on Pio Nono Avenue.
A deputy recognized Thomas from surveillance video from one of the businesses, according to a news release.
