‘Macon Love’ cherry flavored beer available for spring
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A cherry flavored beer brewed in Macon is making its comeback just in time for spring.
This is Macon Love’s third season. The beer is available in restaurants across Middle Georgia. The pink colored beverage will also be bottled this year. Macon Beer Company Owner Jeremy Knowles said the bottles will be available soon in restaurants, bars and possibly grocery stores.
You can also find the beer at one of Macon Beer Company’s weekly tasting tours. The seasonal brew is inspired by the Cherry Blossom Festival.
“This is the first opportunity that we’ve had to be open during the Cherry Blossom Festival. It gives us the opportunity to meet with people outside of Macon because we’re only distributing in Middle Georgia right now, so people don’t get a chance to get our product unless they come to Macon,” said Knowles.
Macon Beer Company will be open for St. Patrick’s Day from 4 – 10 p.m.
Knowles will be holding a canned food drive. For every canned good you bring in, you’ll get $1 off admission price. You can get up to $5 off.
