Macon House Fire Ruled Arson

MACON ,Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Fire Department has been investigating a suspected arson at a home on Brentwood Avenue. The fire started in the back of the house. The home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.

Emergency crews were called to the home around 6:30 this morning. The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene. Investigators said the fire started in two separate areas in the home; the kitchen is believed to be one of those areas.
