Macon Hotel Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place after 8:47 PM this evening at the Red Roof Inn at 3950 River Place Dr.

The suspect approached the clerk, brandishing a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male in his early 20’s. He was approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighed around 120 lbs. The suspect was wearing all black with mask and gloves.
