Macon homeowner catches burglary suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A West Virginia burglary suspect was arrested after the homeowner detained him during the act.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the owner of a home located at 5500 Forest Place caught 20-year-old Andrew Angus Haas while he was trying to leave the home.

Haas was arrested and taken to the Bibb County jail. He’s charged with Burglary and has a $8,450 bond.
