Macon fraud suspect arrested in Augusta

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon identity fraud suspect was arrested in Augusta on Saturday, December 13.

DeAndre M. Adams of Atlanta was arrested for using a fake ID to withdraw money from bank accounts.

According to a news release, Adams has allegedly withdrawn nearly $600,000 from accounts throughout the southeast.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking warrants on Adams for crimes committed in Macon.

A hold will be placed against him.
