Macon Couple without Power on the 4th

Imagine bracing the middle Georgia heat without air conditioning for more than 12 hours. After their power was knocked out by a fallen tree, that’s exactly what the Perry family dealt with this Fourth of July. The couple remains without power and help is no where in sight, at least for now.

“Today is a holiday and like everyone else we would like to cook and provide for our family, but since we’ve been out of power since 7 o’clock we’ve lost all of our food also,” said Vera Perry of Macon.
