Macon County at Hawkinsville highlights: The End Zone Week 6 Game of the Week

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Macon County Bulldogs beat the Hawkinsville 33-12 in our Game of the Week on The End Zone.
The Bulldogs (4-0) beat Manchester 41-14 last week and were scoring 41 PPG this season coming into the matchup. Macon County was ranked 6th by the AJC in Class A.
The Red Devils (1-3) were off last week after losing two straight. This was the first meeting between the two teams in seven years.
Hawkinsville had been shut out by Macon County in the last three meetings (2019, 2018, and 2017). The Red Devils’ last win over Macon County was in 2011.
