Macon City Council Talks Metal Theft with Law Officials

Macon City Council met with law enforcement officials Monday night to talk about the problem of metal theft in middle Georgia.

Sergeant David Freeland with Macon Police and Chip Koplin with the Macon-Middle Georgia Metal Theft Committee gave city council members their plan to slow down metal theft.

Freeland says distributing a person of interest-list to recycle centers is one step that may help lessen the problem.
