Macon City Council Says Hearing or Nothing for Powell

Macon City Council met Tuesday evening to discuss the termination of Richard Powell.

Former Macon Public Works Director, Richard Powell will now need to appeal his termination again, but in the correct way.

 Macon City Council voted to give Powell seven days to submit a letter requesting an appeal under the established process of a hearing. Powell initially submitted letters to council explaining why his termination was unfair and waived his right to a hearing.
