Macon CAO Resigns

Thomas Thomas will resign from his position as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Macon.

Thomas has been hired as the City Manager of Rock Island, Illinois.

Mayor Robert Reichert says, “Mr. Thomas has served the city of Macon in an unselfish and professional manner during his time with the City.”

Mayor Reichert has appointed Finance Director Dale Walker to serve as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer.

Thomas was hired in 2008 and his last day as Macon CAO will be September 30th.
