Macon Business Hands Families Computers for the Holidays

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One business owner is forgetting about the debt his customers owe, and he’s giving away computers to 16 families for the holidays.

Quality Computer Services is spreading the joy to families in the Connect2Compete program who put laptops and computers on layaway.

Owner Brad Spiegel tells us with more graduates need computers in our area, and with the products being expensive, he felt families could use a little help.

So, he stepped in to make their season bright.

“What we decided to do this morning was we looked at the machines that were on layaway with Connect2Compete and really talked to some of the customers. A lot of them were starting to say I may need to get my money back, because I don’t have enough to get my kids a computer.”

Q.C.S. decided to write-off what its customers owed, and give them their computer for Christmas

Spiegel added each family still owed about 150 dollars on their computers.
