Macon-Bibb to hold public forums on bar age limit
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb business owners and residents will have the chance to voice their opinion on proposed legislation that would keep people under the age of 21 from entering and being outside of bars.
Last month, Commissioner Scotty Shepard introduced the legislation during a Public Safety Committee meeting. The committee tabled the item so the public would have the opportunity to share their thoughts.
There will be two forums held on this issue: Tuesday, October 7 at 4 p.m. and Tuesday, October 14 at 2:15 p.m. Both meetings will be in the commission chambers at the Government Center located at 700 Poplar Street.
