Macon-Bibb Pedestrian Fatality Review Board presents projects to commissioners

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Pedestrian Fatality Review Board is keeping the county up-to-date on its ideas.

Board members presented a strategic plan to commissioners this morning.  Priority areas include police, engineering and enforcement. Some ideas are cross-walk campaigns and LED street lighting.

“We prioritized them in light of the recent incidents we have had and to bring new recommendations and new awareness with some specificity in the future,” says board member Chris Tsavatewa.

The board plans to have specific details about the plan available to commissioners by March.
