Macon Bibb Parks and Recreation Director resigns

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb Parks and Recreation Director is resigning.

Macon-Bibb County Spokesman Chris Floore said Dale ‘Doc’ Dougherty accepted a job as the Parks and Recreation Director for Hillsborough County, Florida.

His last day in Macon-Bibb will be July 10. The county will name an interim director soon. Dougherty served the community for a little more than five years.
