Macon-Bibb mayor makes nomination for new county manager

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The nomination for a new Macon-Bibb County Manager was presented in committee meetings Tuesday morning by Mayor Robert Reichert.

Mayor Reichert nominated Dr. Keith Moffett, a former County Administrator for Butts County.

Dr. Moffett was also a Director of Macon-Bibb County’s E-911 Center. In the former City of Macon government he assisted the Chief Administrative Officer with managing 17 departments in areas of budgets, personnel and work plans.

The commission will need to vote to confirm the nomination at their regular meeting next Tuesday.
