Macon-Bibb leaders using CDBG funds on new park

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb leaders are planning on using community development block grant money to create what they’re calling “Pinnacle Park.”

The county’s urban development authority is using more than $77,000 from CDBG funds to improve green space, walking trails, and picnic tables on 2nd Street where the old Boys & Girls Club use to be.

Leaders say this is one way to improve the Tindall Heights neighborhood — part of the Second Street Corridor plan.
