Macon-Bibb Leaders Tour New Amazon Fulfillment Center

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority officials toured the area’s new Amazon Fulfillment Center, Friday.

Partners with the Macon-Bibb County Board of Commissioners, Bibb County Board of Education, Macon Water Authority, Central GA Technical College, Georgia Power and Navicent Health also joined the tour of the one million square foot center.

The new center will open in the Spring of 2019 near Interstate 75 and Sardis Church Road.

The Industrial Authority says the $90 million project represents significant investment into the county. And it will bring 500 full time jobs.
