Macon-Bibb County landfill scores 50 on inspection

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb County landfill failed a Solid Waste Management inspection.

Georgia Department of Natural Resources conducted the inspection, and gave the landfill a score of 50. Anything below an 80 is “out of compliance.”

Erosion issues and bare areas on top of the landfill are just a few of the violations.
