Macon-Bibb Firefighters Battling House Fire

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Macon-Bibb firefighters are battling a blaze at a home on Hawkins Avenue.

According to the home owners brother and neighbors, they saw flames coming from 511 Hawkins Avenue around 7 Tuesday evening.

The homeowner told 41NBC’s Taylor Terrell that this is the second fire that’s happened at her home this fall. A blaze broke out on September 22nd. That fire is still under investigation, but the home owner thinks it may have been arson.
