Macon-Bibb Economic and Community Development Committee passes senior center plans

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb’s Economic and Community Development Committee passed the new senior citizen’s center plans Tuesday.

The designs were first presented to the community in October. They include a multipurpose space, a lounge and areas for pottery and painting. The county wants to build the new center in Central City Park. Commissioners have $2.5 million to do it. Full commission will vote on the plans next week.
