Macon-Bibb county closer to offering retirement incentives

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb commissioners approved changes to the county’s pension plan during their meeting Tuesday night.

Early retirement incentives for government employees include reducing the number of years of service needed to stop working and offering retirees more money.

The board will take a final vote on the proposal on May 5th.
