Macon-Bibb Commissioners discuss Wings Cafe shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Wings Cafe in Macon could lose its liquor license.
Macon-Bibb commissioners felt they needed to take action after last Friday’s shooting that left two people dead and four others injured.
At Tuesday night’s meeting, commissioners voted to move the discussion to the Public Safety Committee. County leaders want to give the nightclub owner an opportunity to present his case. They also plan to hold a public hearing for residents to have a say in the matter.
Commissioners could also decide to let municipal courts make the decision to revoke Wing Cafe’s alcohol license.
The committee meets next Tuesday.
