Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare Center to reopen Monday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare Center will reopen Monday, January 5.

The center went under quarantine Thursday after a a puppy was found dead. Veterinarian Dr. Chris Grace diagnosed the dog with parvo .

Until the quarantine is lifted, no animals will be admitted or released. People with pets who were in contact with the dog will be notified.
