Macon Beer Fest to unite community, fight prostate cancer

Event organizers said the festival also promotes prostate cancer awareness.

 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 15th annual Macon Beer Fest returns to downtown Macon on Saturday, offering craft beer, live music, and food vendors to kick off the fall weekend.

The festival will run from 3 to 7 p.m. at the intersection of Third and Poplar streets. Attendees can sample more than 100 craft beers and wines while enjoying live entertainment and a variety of food options.

Event organizers said the festival also promotes prostate cancer awareness. Attendees can receive free prostate screenings and access educational resources during the event.

Tickets are available online, and organizers encourage early arrival to enjoy all activities. The Macon Beer Fest draws crowds from across Middle Georgia and is hosted by the Downtown Macon Rotary Club.
