MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  A Macon based non-profit funds vacations for terminally-ill families through its, Take The Trip Foundation.

Take the Trip Foundation, aims to send families impacted by a terminal illness on an all-expense paid vacation to provide them with the opportunity of making memories that the surviving loved ones can cherish, always.

Jason Carroll and his late wife, Cissy Altman Carroll founded, Take The Trip Foundation, several months before her passing in August of 2023, after an almost 8-year battle with Stage IV Lung Cancer.

Jason said, he’s heard time and time again, one of the biggest regrets a terminally ill patient typically shares with their physician is they wish they would have traveled more.

Now, Jason, in memory of his late wife, Carroll are giving some families this precious opportunity.
