Macon Bacon defeat the Flamingos in Comeback Fashion
Bacon grab win number 17 to climb out of last in the Western Division with just two games remaining on the schedule

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Bacon defeated the Florence Flamingos at Luther Williams Field Thursday for ‘Christmas in July’ night.
Things didnt start off so merry for the Bacon giving up three runs in three innings. In the bottom third, the Bacon scored four runs to take a 4-3 lead. The Flamingos would score on a two run RBI single to retake the lead 5-4 in the top 7th. However in the bottom frame, the Bacon would retake the lead and go onto score six runs, going up 10-5. After giving up three more runs in the last three innings, the Bacon hold onto win 10-8.
Bacon improve to 17-27 with the victory. Last home game of the season is Saturday night for Fan Appreciation night against the Lexington County Blowfish.
