Macon attorney arrested on drug charges
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) led to the arrest of a Macon attorney.
Evidence revealed that 35-year-old Holly Hogue Edwards was involved in the use and distribution of illegal drugs. Investigators say Edwards was indicted last week after she sold drugs to undercover agents.
She charged with 4 counts of distributing Oxycodone and one count of distributing methamphetamine.
Edwards is in custody of the U.S. Marshal’s Office.
