Lucas Wins State Senate District 26 Seat

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Democrat David Lucas won State Senate District 26 seat.

Spirits were high at David Lucas’ campaign headquarters in downtown Macon where he was surrounded by friends and family. Lucas looks forward to representing District 26. He hopes to be the best senator the district has seen.

“We’re looking forward to representing a very diverse district,” Lucas said, “and when I say diverse we are talking about population, urban and rural areas. We’re looking to be the very best senate district 26 has had.”

Lucas defeated Republican candidate Bobby Gale.
