Locust Grove man arrested in Macon after allegedly ramming home, threatening deputies with knife

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man from Locust Grove was arrested Monday in Macon on an aggravated assault charge, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said Lemuel Mason intentionally struck a home with his vehicle, threatened self-harm and then ran to a nearby gas station armed with a large kitchen knife on March 23.
Mason then threatened deputies with the knife and attempted to flee before he was Tased and taken into custody.
He received medical care and is facing charges including aggravated assault, second-degree criminal damage to property, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
