Local Pair Uses Eco-Friendly Product to Help Schools

 

A Jones County couple puts old cooking oil to good use in this week’s “Going Green, Saving Green.”

The pair is working on creating a non-profit organization to make gasoline with that oil. The process would help local schools systems reduce pain at the pump.Norman Agan says he is working to make a difference through his company Macon a Change.  He and Jessica Alday created the organization, which mixes cooking oil with alcohol to make bio-diesel.
