Local doctor offers tips for allergy season

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A Macon doctor is offering tips for managing allergy season and advising when to see a primary care physician.
Dr. Terin Blanchard of Atrium Health Navicent says allergy season is most severe during the spring.
“It’s the time of the year. All the plants are starting to bloom,” says Blanchard.
Blanchard says allergy season begins in March and gets into peak season around April and May.
“By June things to die down a little bit,” says Blanchard. “But we’ll always deal with some of it throughout the Summer until the fall hits and things really die down.”
