Lobby of Theatre Dublin Gets Art-Deco 1930s Revamp

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The “Emerald City of Dublin” is known for it’s green scheme. When it came time to choose a color for the Theatre Dublin, interior designer Claire Livingston, decided it was time to mix in a different color, and add a new kind of sparkle to downtown.

“We’re the pot at the end of the rainbow, the gold at the end of the rainbow.”

The color shines all over the walls of the newly renovated lobby of the Theatre Dublin, but director of Main Street Dublin, Tara Bradshaw says there’s nothing new about concept behind the renovations.

“What we wanted to do when DDA took management over in March, we wanted to upgrade it… something that may have, the way it may have looked when it was built back in the 1930s,” says Bradshaw.
