Lizella woman launches invention for babies

The Mr. Zippy products were invented to help new parents keep their kids clean at mealtime.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  A Lizella entrepreneur is launching her first round of products to help new moms and families.

The product, called Mr. Zippy Bib, is a baby bib with legs to make sure your baby stays clean at mealtime.

Inventor Rachel Moore says she invented the bib for her twin boys who always seemed to make a mess. She says it was important for her to be able to help other struggling moms with babies to feed.

Moore hopes she can inspire other women in the area to chase their dreams.

The product line also includes books and toys to make mealtime enjoyable for families.

“No matter what your dream is or how long it takes to pursue it and to look forward to the next phase,” Moore said.  “If you don’t give up, you’re going to see that dream realized.”

The product has launched, but Moore is still looking for sponsors to help get the brand into retail stores and into the hands of local families. If you’re interested in sponsoring the product, go to zippybib.com.
