Little League District 5 Tournament Continues in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Little League District 5 Tournament is well under way, and two Warner Robins teams are set to tangle Tuesday night in the 11/12 baseball winners’ bracket.

If the weather holds off, East and West will clash at Warner Robins American League at 6:30.  In the loser’s bracket, Western (Macon) will face Vine Ingle at 8:30.

Here’s a breakdown of the games through the end of the 11/12 tournament.  Note: Dudley and Macon/Ocmulgee have already been sent home.

Winners’ Bracket (Game 1)

6 p.m. — Warner Robins East vs. Warner Robins West
Loser of Game 1 goes to Losers’ Bracket (Game 3)

Losers’ Bracket (Game 2)

8:30 p.m. — Western vs. Vine Ingle
Loser of Game 2 goes home.

Losers’ Bracket (Game 3)

Wed., 6 p.m. — Loser Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Loser of Game 3 goes home.

Championship (Game 4)

Fri., 8:30 p.m. — Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 3
a) If Winner Game 1 wins this game, the tournament is over and Winner Game 1 goes to Savannah to represent District 5 in the Georgia State Tournament.
b) If Winner Game 3 wins this game, there will be another game to decide the championship.

Championship (Game 5 if necessary)

Sat., 2 p.m. — Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 4
a) Winner of this game is the tournament champion and goes to Savannah to represent District 5 in the Georgia State Tournament.

Note:  The winner of the Georgia State Tournament is “Georgia” in the Southeastern Little League Region Tournament in Warner Robins in August.
