MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Baldwin Braves finished with a 7-5 record in Lee Hannah’s first season as head coach, and was able to reach the second round of the playoffs. Now in his second season, Coach Hannah will be looking for more out of his squad.

The offense for the Braves produced an average of 20.2 points per game last season, but will be need to replace star running back Kentavious Thomas who rushed for 1500 yards. To do that, Coach Hannah will be leaning on QB Felix Jones and new starting running back LaTraious Saulsberry.

Coach Hannah says his system is defense first, and they proved it while only allowing just under 20 points a game in 2014. They’ll be anchored by stalwarts Malik Clark and Ty Christian Henry for 2015.

Baldwin’s first game will be on the road at Hancock Central on August 28th.
