Law Enforcement donates Air EVAC membership to kidney patient
JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia, (41NBC/WMGT) – The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office joined other law enforcement agencies in donating a free helicopter ride to a local kidney patient.
Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum says the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, Dublin Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia State Patrol donated a three-year Air EVAC membership.
The air medical crew will fly Tom Brown to Atlanta immediately when a kidney becomes available.
Brown is in need of a kidney transplant.
