Last Minute Shopping

Department stores across Middle Georgia are preparing for the big crowds this weekend. Hundreds of shoppers are at the Macon Mall and other retail stores getting their last minute shopping done. Shoppers at the Target on Presidential Parkway were getting toys, cloths and electronics.

“You know you always have little final things to get for the nieces and nephews” said shopper Kathryn Millard.

“Electronics have been huge for us but especially the Kindle Readers. All of those things have been popular for us this season and we have been able to have them in stock for all of our guests” said Lauren Barnett, Executive Team Leader at Target.

A lot of stores will still be open on Christmas Eve. Target on presidential parkway will open at 7am and close at 9pm.
