Lane closures announced in Macon

When and where GDOT will shift traffic

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia Department of Transportation announces more nightly lane closures as they continue work of the I-16/I-75 Interchange.

June 14-21 (Overnight)

•  I-75 at I-16 on Riverside Drive and under 2nd Street Bridge.

June 17-21 (Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings)

• Watch for flaggers directing traffic through single lane closures in Riverside Drive.
• Expect emergency vehicles to set a slower pace for traffic under the 2nd Street bridge.
• The left lane will be closed on the I-75 exit ramp to I-16 Eastbound and Westbound. Emergency vehicles will slow traffic.
