Lady Titans Win Regular Season Finally over Middle Georgia State, 75-51

MACON, Georgia (CGTC RELEASE) – The CGTC Lady Titans win their 21st game of the season, in front of a capacity crowd of 897.

The Lady Titans dominated Middle GA State College to end the regular season on a 9 game win streak. CGTC was led by Emili Russ (21 points/10 rebs) and Ta’Kierra Gibbs (17 points, 9 rebs, and 9 steals) who ends her regular season as the Lady Titans all time leading scorer (855 points). Former Mary Persons Bulldog, Aleah Holden, also had 9 points and 14 rebounds. Holden has averaged a double double the past 4 games.

Middle GA State was led by former Central High standout Tascianna Taylor (11 points & 5 rebounds)and former Howard Husky, Va’Queisha Hall (8 points & 8 rebounds) who led the team in scoring and rebounds. The Titans led by as many as 24 and never trailed. The CGTC Lady Titans will host a first round playoff game on Tuesday the 25th @ 5:30 PM at the Titans Arena.
