Kynette Park Getting Attention from City of Forsyth

Kynette Park in Forsyth is getting the attention it needs to bring one of the oldest parts of the city back to life.

With more than $80,000 from grant and city money, the rehab project began in late 2011. A new clubhouse, and new pavilion are two features already off the ground. The area surrounding the park is getting cleaned up as well.

“Within the last year we’ve almost completely stopped the hand sale of crack cocaine and marijuana in the area,” says Chief Keith Corley, Forsyth Police.
