Kroger’s “Can Hunger” Gives 16K to Middle GA Food Bank

The Middle Georgia Community Food Bank relies heavily on the support of holiday donations. Today Kroger announced their “Can Hunger” campaign will bring food to those who need it most and support a cause that lasts beyond Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“People are hungry year round,” says Bobby Denegal.

Denegal works to feed the hungry at Middle Georgia Community Food Bank. He says a large part of what keeps the bank feeding more than 50-thousand people a year is holiday donations. Kroger’s “Can Hunger” campaign just announced it will give the food bank a check for more than 16 thousand dollars.
