Kony 2012 ‘Cover the Night’ Campaign Moves into Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A group of young adults in middle Georgia are working to spread awareness today in honor of the Kony 2012 mission known as “Cover the Night.”

The event is calling for people to do more than just hand out fliers and inform people about what’s going on Uganda surrounding rebel leader Joseph Kony. Supporters all over the world are encouraged to “earn the right to be heard globally by acting locally.”

“No one drop in the ocean can change the tide, but I think when enough of us come together both nationwide and worldwide, we are really going to make a difference,” says local supporter, Morgan Cramer.
