Knights Men’s Basketball Falls in Home Opener
COCHRAN, Georgia (MGSC RELEASE) – The Middle Georgia State College men’s basketball program lost their conference opener 74-67 to Georgia Highlands College.
The Knights were down by as many as 12 at one point in the first half but fought back to take the lead early in the second half. After several lead changes, the game came down to the last two minutes. The teams were tied at 67 before the Chargers had a seven point run to win the game.
The Knights were led by Brandon Ingleton with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists while Jamaal Anderson added 11 points and Roshaun Milline contributed 10. Javaris Hooks kicked in 7 assists as well.
The next game is at Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, Ala. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
