Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful to show Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. documentary on Juneteenth

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful is hosting a showing of the Made for a King documentary on Juneteenth.

Asha Ellen, executive director of Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful, said the free documentary is open to the community. She said the film highlights Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s last visit to Macon on March 23, 1968.

The event will be held at 2 p.m. on June 19 at the Douglass Theatre. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow the screening.
