Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful to host free paper shredding event

The goal is to prevent identity theft and make sure that people can keep their documents safe and confidential.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful and the Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority are hosting a free paper shredding event.

The free paper shredding event will be on May 17th in the rear parking lot of Luther Williams Field located inside of Carolyn Crayton Park. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or once the truck reaches capacity.

Asha Ellen, Executive Director at Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful, says that people can bring up to 3 bags or boxes of documents to be shredded.
