Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful receives $10,000 donation, money will help revitalize Cherry Blossom trail
Macon-Bibb County Parks & Beautification Department will begin planting trees on January 17 at Coleman Hill.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful received a $10,000 donation that will be used to revitalize the existing Cherry Blossom trail, according to a news release.
The grant from The Fickling Family Foundation will help make the trail more downtown focused to accommodate tourists and local citizens.
Macon-Bibb County Parks & Beautification Department will begin planting trees on January 17 at Coleman Hill.
According to the news release, the project will introduce new varieties of Cherry Blossom trees and adding/replacing aged Yoshino Cherry trees throughout the existing trail.
