Kali Dance Studio combines movies and dance in upcoming concert
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you love movies and dance, then you won’t want to miss Kali Dance Studio’s upcoming performance. Terra Gallemore stopped by Daybreak to tell us all about it and we got a sneak peek of the show.
“Celebrating Cinema through Movement and Dance” will feature dances from a variety of movies, including The Wiz, Twilight, and many more. There will be a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, and much more.
Dancers Dymond Barnes, Avia Brown, and Yasmine Hughes performed a jazz number to the Cups song from Pitch Perfect on Daybreak.
The show is Sunday, June 8 at the Grand Opera House in downtown Macon. The show starts at 3 p,m. Tickets are $15. For more information, call (478) 461-7602.
