Jones Residents Approve Bonds for Water Upgrades

JONES COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Jones County residents living in the River North subdivision voted Tuesday to approve more than $1 million in bonds that will fund water and wastewater treatment upgrades.

78% voted yes and 22% percent said no.

The River North subdivision is a special service district, which means the funding for these upgrades comes from bonds like this and not county money.
